Kingscote Barn does rustic charm with a luxury finish, and being able to fill it with rich colours for Nikki and Tom was just so joyful. Rich reds, oranges and yellows lit up the green foliage, and I was mindful of texture as well as colour in all of the arrangements here. Fuzzy bunny tails, eryngium thistle, eucalyptus and pheasant feathers intermingled with chocolate cosmos, gorgeous ruby red dahlias, roses, chrysanthemum and a host of other seasonal blooms.
Imagine bright flowers tumbling from milk churns, lining banquet tables in bottles and suspended among greenery in an overhead ceremony garland. Imagine playful textures and rich, jewel-bright colours. Doesn’t it bring a smile to your face just thinking about it?
