Vicki and Sam’s beautiful wedding took place at Clevedon Hall in November 2019. Pairing pale blue with a hint of blush, the couple wanted to fill their venue with flowers. Obviously, I was only too happy to oblige!
For her bouquet, Vicki chose a stylish mix of Avalanche, O’Hara and Quicksand roses. I added delphiniums, larkspur, ranunculus, anemones and more. Pale blue trailing silk ribbon completed the look.
Vicki and Sam held their ceremony in the stunning light-filled Orangery at Clevedon Hall. As they wanted to make a real statement with their flowers, I suggested lining the aisle with meadow arrangements. As well as adding lots of drama, this style of arrangement is easy to move after the ceremony.
The couple also chose two big urn arrangements, placing them either side of the ceremony table with a low arrangement on the table itself.
For the wedding breakfast, the meadow arrangements were relocated in front of the top table. Guest tables were decorated with a mixture of tall arrangements on gold candelabras (supplied by Holly Boo) and cut glass bottles and jars filled with dinner candles or blooms. I also used small arrangements in zinc planters to decorate the couple’s rustic wooden table plan.
It was such a wonderful wedding and a complete joy to work with a couple who love flowers as much as I do! You’ll find more floral inspiration for weddings at Clevedon Hall here. It’s a gorgeous venue.
