Lisa and Simons’ wedding at Bath Assembly Rooms was one of my favourites from 2022. Inspired by beautiful florals, elegant designs and a gorgeous colour palette of pastel pinks, blues, lilacs and peaches. Bath Assembly Rooms is based in Bath, Somerset, and is part of The National Trust. This beautiful wedding venue boosts elegant and romantic spaces where you can host both your civil ceremony and wedding reception.

Throughout the wedding day, we used an array of wedding flowers including Quicksand, Avalanche, Sweet Avalanche and O’ hara roses, Juliet and Adore roses, peonies, stocks, delphiniums, hydrangea, larkspur, spray roses, astilbe, lisianthus, sweet peas, oxypetalum, veronica, eucalyptus and olive foliage.

Pastel Pops of Colour

Here at Daisy Lane Floral Design I simply love working with bursts of colour, especially for Summer weddings. And it goes without saying this wedding colour palette was a dream! In true English style, we brought the outdoors inside and it worked so well in the gorgeous and grand event spaces at Bath Assembly Rooms.

During the consultation call, we discussed the different tones and opted for pastel shades. Lisa wanted to create a soft, elegant and romantic atmosphere so we chose pastel pinks, pastel blues, lilacs and peaches complete with greenery. All these shades complemented the other colours, creating a beautiful contrast whilst adding pops of colour.

Bridal Bouquet & Bridesmaid Bouquets

We created a stunning structured yet loose bridal bouquet which was tied with three different coloured silk ribbons. Lisa’s two bridesmaids wore a gorgeous dusky pink bridesmaid dress and carried smaller more structured bridesmaid posies.

Ceremony Wedding Flowers

For the couple’s ceremony, we placed two large urns bursting with pretty colourful flowers as a key focal point. The grand pillars in the Bath Assembly Room were also decorated.

This wedding venue in the heart of Bath that is bursting with history has original fireplaces which were decorated with statement meadow flowers. All of these flowers were repurposed throughout the wedding day.

Bath Assembly Rooms Reception Wedding Flowers

For the table setting we created both high and low chalice designs to add more of a wow factor when guests first walked into the wedding reception. Half of the tables displayed tall glass arrangements whilst the other round tables had low-footed bowls. We added in lots of candles, both taper and candle votives to add some more prettiness and of course, create a romantic atmosphere for the guests.

Again, ensuring we repurposed as many flowers as possible, we placed the large urns behind the top table to frame the couple and immediate family. I always recommend having a key focal point near your top table as this looks amazing during the speeches and these photographs will be cherished for many years to come!

Thank you for booking Daisy Lane Floral Design, it was an absolute pleasure to be part of your special day. If you’re looking for elegant wedding flowers in Bath, Somerset, then please get in touch to book a consultation call. I can’t wait to hear about your exciting wedding plans.
