Ange and Chris were married at Eastington Park on 15th November 2019. The lovely hairstylist, Tracy Pallari, recommended me to the bride who is a great friend of hers.
The minute I met with Ange, I loved the vision she had for her wedding flowers and the stunning colour palette she’d chosen. In the end, I used Quicksand, Cappuccino, Avalanche, Mentha and Ohara roses. My designs also included stocks, delphiniums, larkspur, veronica and hydrangea along with eucalyptus and olive foliage.
Using ribbon, I attached small handtied posies to the chairs lining the aisle. These were then removed and reused around the venue after the ceremony. Simple cut-glass vases decorated the ceremony table while stems of foliage created a simple, relaxed garland in between. These were moved across to the top table after the ceremony.
Ange wanted a mix of tall and low arrangements for her guest tables. I suggested using riser stands and footed bowls. I added a combination of mercury glass candle votives and dinner candle holders with tall nude coloured candles to create atmosphere.
The staircase at Eastington is perfect for decorating with flowers. I created a full floral and foliage garland cascading into a meadow style arrangement at the bottom of the stairs with candle votives and lanterns nestled among the flowers. It was the perfect backdrop for the couple’s beautiful wedding cake.
‘All we can say is wow wow wow! The flowers for our wedding were just utterly perfect – we couldn’t believe it. You went over and above what we’d dreamt of and the flowers and colours you picked and curated made for the most perfect day. You are so, so talented and we can’t thank you enough! – Ange and Chris
Such a lovely couple and what a gorgeous colour scheme! It worked perfectly with the autumn leaves outside. You’ll find more real wedding inspiration in my gallery.
