I’m so excited so share this gorgeous Summer wedding with you! Sarah & Louis hosted a beautiful and intimate wedding Coombe Lodge, Bristol in North Somerset. All the details were simply stunning and perfectly matched this blush pink colour scheme, from the bridesmaid dresses, semi-naked cake design, tablescape pieces and of course the luscious flowers.
Summer Wedding Flower Design
Here at Daisy Lane Floral Design I always ensure the florals reflect the beauty of the season, so we opted for a selection of Summery flowers in pink shades, paired with white, creams and greenery to match the overall wedding colour palette. A perfect combination for English summer weddings. The flowers consisted of: Avalanche roses, Sweet Avalanche, O’Hara, Quicksand and Secret Garden roses, astilbe, lisianthus, dahlias, veronica, delphiniums, larkspur, antirrhinum, stocks, olive, senecio and eucalyptus.
Floral Staircase at Coombe Lodge
A grand and graceful staircase greets guests as they enter Coombe Lodge and Sarah was keen to create a dress this beautiful space. We created a full floral installation cascading into English meadows paired with lanterns and candles to elevate the ambience and create a romantic atmosphere. Guests were simply stunned by this wow-factor floral arrangement.
Summer Flower Ideas Ceremony & Reception
For the tablescape design, we designed intricate floral centrepieces that added a touch of elegance and romance to the ballroom. The floral runner used for the registrar table was reused and repurposed for the top table during the couple’s wedding breakfast. The guest tables were adorned with high and footed bowls paired with candles to further add to the romance.
The Little Buttercup Cakery designed a stunning 3-tied naked wedding cake and we created a beautiful and romantic floral cascade that flowed down each tier of the cake. Not only does this wedding cake design look amazing, it tasted just as good, or so Sarah and Louis told me.
Bridal Bouquet
When designing the bridal bouquet, Sarah wanted to achieve a more structured design and picked a beautiful selection of flowers to complement this English summer wedding at Coombe Lodge. We added some loose eucalyptus which perfectly matched the overall look and style of the wedding flowers. Structured bouquets are very elegant, making them a great choice for brides who are looking to create an elegant, modern and romantic bridal look. Sarah’s bridal party wore soft shades of dusty pink, and I love how each bridesmaid dress had a different design that perfectly complements their style.
