Eastington Park is an award-wining exclusive use wedding venue in Gloucestershire. Surrounded by eight acres of gardens, the beautiful Grade II listed building is just a short walk from the local village church, St Michael and All Angels. Both the Morning Room and the pagoda outside are licensed for civil ceremonies.
Whether you’re planning a winter wedding with warming log fires and masses of candlelight or a summer celebration complete with outdoor ceremony, Eastington Park suits every season. The venue is decorated in a very ‘wedding friendly’ way, so your colour palette, décor and details won’t clash. It also gives you plenty of freedom when it comes to choosing your wedding flowers.
Inspiration and Ideas for Wedding Flowers at Eastington Park
Deciding to hold your wedding ceremony outside means the pagoda can be decorated with floral installations or urns. Urn arrangements can be easily moved inside once you’ve said, ‘I do’.
Within the house itself, there are three fireplaces. These look beautiful decorated with floral meadow arrangements or a mix of small bottles, vases and candles. For your wedding breakfast in the ballroom, choose low or high arrangements for each table. Both will work well in the space and you could even opt for a mixture of the two.
The staircase at Eastington is perfect for decorating with flowers. I’ve previously created a full floral and foliage garland cascading into a meadow style arrangement at the bottom of the stairs. Candle votives and lanterns were placed among the flowers. It provided the perfect backdrop for the couple’s beautiful wedding cake.
